1. Discuss the novel’s view of relationships between men.

1: The relationship between the men on the ranch is that they are almost their own family. They live and work with each other every day and even sleep in the same room everynight. The relationship between them is almost like they are very close friend or brothers. Yet the relationship between Lennie and George is a lot stronger then any of the other men, due to they have been together since they were both kids.

2. Analyze Steinbeck’s portrayal of Curley’s wife as the lone female on the all-male ranch.

2: Curly's wife being the only female makes so she is limited to only a few options of something to do during the day. She can only talk to Curly and cannot talk to anyone else due to them being threatened by Curly if anyone is to get near her. She also was stuck on the farm because she married Curly and not possibly someone else or gone to another thing that would have been much more enjoyable (due to her mother would hide letters or not let her do these things).

April 1st: Connector, and Literary Luminary

Curly Picking on Lennie:
Possibly a short person who thinks hes awesome and has a little group of people to defend himself starting fights with bigger and better people then himself.

Curly's wife flirting with all the workers:
Something that happens commonly in life with either dating or marriage when the wife flirts with other men to make her husband get mad with them.

And I read the part when George got mad at Lenny.

April 3rd:
Character Captain:

Whit: Whit is almost another slightly differen't version of George.
the difference is that whit is a bit more of a serious farmer then George

"Old Candy": Candy is a man who cares for others a decent amount and can relate to someone more of as a grandpa or another man who will help a few guys into a better life if he can get the rest of his life good at the same time.

Cultivator: A mechanical implement for breaking up the soil

Whing Ding: - Unknown (estimante) - An insult of some sort.

April 10th:
Literary Luminary: I will read part of George killing Lennie.

Connecter:

Lennie talking to himself: This could be related to maybe a concious or maybe someone who is mentally handicaped or has a disease will have imaginary people come out of their head and talk to them

George killing Lennie: This could be related to someone wanting Lennie to die happy when he had done something bad and/or did not know how bad it really was.
